SNOW DAY

 

 

 

 

We got snow in St. George! It started on the 17th at night. We let our kids stay up until past 10 o'clock to play in the snow because it was so unusual. Tyler and Paul swept the snow off the walks because we don't own a snow shovel. Paul spent a lot of time knocking the snow off his palm trees so they wouldn't break with the weight of the snow. The next day much to my surprise we had a SNOW DAY! No school. I guess a couple of inches here if it sticks is considered snowed in. It was the most snow St. George has had for 30 years, and it did stick around for several days, and St. George doesn't have any equipment to clear snow, but still we are whimps here. The next day was my birthday. Happy Birthday to me! We played in the snow, had hot chocolate, and played with friends all day. Paul did not give himself a snow day and was not happy to miss all the fun and spend the day at work. We tried not to have too much fun without him.
